Deborah Poole, AIM
Deborah was born and raised in Leesville, SC. She attended Batesburg-Leesville High School and Winthrop College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Social Work. She attended Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, received a Master of Arts in Religion, and was commissioned as an Associate in Ministry on September 20, 1993.
Deborah served as the Associate in Ministry at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church in West Columbia for 12 years before coming to Pisgah in August, 2005.
Deborah currently serves as the Convener for the Synod’s Lifelong Faith Formation Network.
She is married to Steve Poole and they live in Lexington with their dog, Mazie.
